Technician education, beyond exam practice
RxAce is developing a structured pharmacy technician education program with lessons, learning objectives, applied activities and documented completion rules. PTCE and ExCPT preparation remain supplements within that broader learning experience.
RxAce is not currently a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program. The proposed program is not open for recognized-program enrollment and does not issue completion credentials or establish exam eligibility. Director appointment, qualified pharmacy review, applicable school authorization and recognition remain pending.
What learners study
- Body systems, medication histories, adherence support, screening devices and referral boundaries.
- Medication names, classes, uses, dosage forms, product differences, interactions, stability and storage.
- Federal requirements, controlled substances, recalls, supply-chain records, privacy and current state-law research.
- Professional communication, accessibility, exposure response, safety data sheets and reference selection.
- Error prevention, reporting, quality improvement and infection prevention.
- Prescription processing, calculations, identifiers, equipment, returns and final-verification preparation.
- Billing, compounding foundations, pharmacy technology, inventory, packaging, delivery and administrative records.
How learning is checked
The proposed sequence includes module study checks, a final knowledge check, a current state-law exercise and applied safety/workflow cases. The proposed RxAce threshold is 80% on each module and final check, plus satisfactory applied work with every critical safety item met. These are internal rules for director adoption, not PTCB or NHA passing rules.
Local reading acknowledgments, answers and activity responses can be exported as unverified study evidence. A responsible provider must independently verify identity, assessment conditions and completion. App progress alone cannot issue an official certificate. Screen activities do not replace supervised practical training or state requirements.
How coverage is documented
The PTCB map follows the separate 2026 CPhT Knowledge Reference, including additional required knowledge beyond the PTCE outline. The ExCPT map follows NHA's current knowledge and task statements. Each map links actual lessons, objectives and assessment evidence and identifies partial or missing coverage.
AI source checking and automated validation support review. They do not establish qualified pharmacy approval, program recognition or clinical competence. The review record keeps these decisions separate.
Study resources available now
The app's lessons and ordinary practice are supplemental study resources. See ExCPT preparation and coverage or open PTCE practice. Schools may use RxAce alongside their own programs; a school's recognition does not transfer to RxAce.
