Effective October 29, 2026. Replaces the policy of October 26, 2026.
RxAce is a study and reference app for pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students and pharmacists, published by ACI Software and Dev. It works without an account and collects as little as possible. This policy explains what data RxAce handles, where it goes and the choices you have.
Your study progress (lessons finished, answers and review schedule, flashcard schedule, practice history), bookmarks, notes, continuing-education log, credential renewal dates, settings, exam date, free-trial start time and purchase status (including a web license key) are stored only in the app's storage on your device. We do not receive this data. Clearing the app's or the site's data, or uninstalling the app, deletes it. You can export it yourself from Me → Settings. On Android, the system may include it in your own device backup if backups are on.
Earlier versions let you connect your own AI provider key. That feature has been removed, and any key stored by an earlier version is deleted from your device when you update.
If you use "Report a problem", we receive what you write, the item it is about (for example a lesson or question ID), the type of problem, the content and app version, and whether you use the web or Google Play version. An email address is included only if you type one so we can reply. Please do not include patient information. We use reports only to fix content and the app, and keep them for up to 12 months. If you choose "Email instead", your email app sends the report to our support address and it is handled like any support email.
The website and its purchase and report services are hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and reliability. Links to outside resources (for example DailyMed or a free course) take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
RxAce is for adults and students preparing for professional work in pharmacy. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can export or erase your on-device data from Me → Settings at any time. To ask about or delete purchase records or reports we hold, email our support address. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data; we honor those requests.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and, for significant changes, note it in the app.
